I need help. I am a foreign worker in Canada for last 14 months. My Salary is 33.00 monthly that becomes $ 40000.00 per year .
My question here is,
my employer did not pay tax on my full monthly pay 33.00 for 2008. he did on just 00.00.
It is 15 february 2009
1. can i still pay the tax that i owe for 2008?
2. can anybody calculate and tell me how much it would be to pay? (As my employer has paid on 00.00 per month so Now i need to pay on 00.00 month)
3. And will i get a refund on that amount?

I am classed as self employed as far as tax and NI is concerned but I work for a personal credit company. I have my self assessment form to fill in and I don’t know what i can claim for.
How much money do they(the government or whoever) take off my cheque if I am a part-time student (14 years old) working in Ontario? If not, then when will take money off my cheque?
And what are the details (ie levels of income, age, marital status, etc) that determine how much? I’m talking specific numbers.
And also, I’m referring to Ontario, Canada.

I am a french student and I chose to study in a school in London. I already paid the first half of tuition fees for a postgraduate Finance. In fact, I do not have lectures I was expecting. I only have Management lectures instead of Financial lectures, the school says I will have those lectures during the 2nd semester but a friend told me the contrary and to be honest, I do not trust the school which does not look serious at all. I plan to ask them if I am really going to have expected lectures (which were mentionned on the website and on the brochure). If they tell me I am not going to have those lectures, can I ask to refund my money? and if they do not want, where can I go to be helped ?

So I wanted to know….
My cousin is 12, but she really wants Facebook. She promises that she will only use it for:
–chatting for projects
–looking at pictures from parties that she has gone to
–keeping in touch with her old friends because her school only goes up to grade 8 and she has really good friends there. She will only keep in touch with people she knows and is friends with
–she will also add she cousins (like me!) who have facebook and only sometimes talk to them
I am usually the one she talks about this stuff to because we are really close. Her mom says that she trusts me to make the right decision because she doesn’t know anything about facebook, so please don’t say that she should ask her mom. I really need to know, because she has a big project that she is working on, and EVERYONE in her class has facebook, including her partners. Remember, she is in grade 7, and is very responsible.
I will put on all the privacy blocks on it, or whatever they are called. I don’t want anybody to see her other than the people that she chooses. Is it mandatory to put information, other than name? If so, what info? How can I make sure that only her friends or people that she chooses can see her, and not friends of friends ect… (if possible to keep that privacy..)
If you agree that I can let her get Facebook, could you please tell me how to put on privacy blocks? I dont have facebook, so I dont know much about it. Im planning to get it when she does, though. How do you add friends on it? How do you chat? Please tell me "how to…" on everything, as I don’t know a single thing about it….

Ok well her mom trusts me because she has NO idea about facebook. Of course I’m going to tell her if she is getting it or not and why, but she is going to let me decide on whether she should get it or not. I still have to tell her all about it, and about the safety and everything else. But she just wants me to decide because she knows I know a little more about the Internet, but I don’t know much about Facebook.
Um ok….well her class does. Even my little brother’s class (grade 6) has facebook. it is supposed to be "cool". no idea why…. kids are just a little crazy now….. but i think that she has good enough reasons to get it…. but i dont know much about the privacy, and thats what her mom and i are most worried about…
isnt myspace more unsafe for little kids than facebook? if so, why would more of the kids have myspace??

- where can I get them from
- how do I use them
And any other important things I need to know.
