How much weight should I loose each week?

Hi,
I’m trying to loose weight at the moment and would like some help calculating how much weight I should aim to loose a week, and what my end goal should be. Thanks
Height: 5′ 6"
Weight: 13 stone
Age: 17

Also: I am not starving myself and not expecting to loose weight overnight, I am exercising and following a plan.

  1. I live in America so i checked and you weigh about 182 pounds (US) .
    You should lose about 2 pounds a week. So like half a stone a month. Considering you are only 17 so yor nutritional requirement are higher and you are not that much overweight.

  3. ok, so you do weigh more than you should for your height,but i suggest you aim to lose just a small amount each week until you reach your target weight.
    Thing is if you lose heaps very quickly, the chances are you will put it on and more if you lapse your restricted diet.
    Just go for a slow and gradual weight loss and it will keep you in control.
    Go for it.it’s very empowering to get to grips with something(your weight) that appears to have a mind of it’s own.

    I just want to say one more thing.. you will probably cope better if you don’t tell everyone what you are trying to do(lose weight) because that just puts you in the spotlight and under pressure.
    If anyone mentions you are not stuffing your face like usual just try and blank it off and say you feel a bit off your food.You will find it easier to cut down(and lose weight) if you do it quietly without pressure.You can do it.

    About a kilo a week is fine and if you have a week where it is a bit less or more don’t panic, just concentrate on eating regular healthy meals.
